Let's have a coffee and a sit down to discuss your goals and how we can achieve them. We can talk about the framework of your project and sketch budgets and timelines. But then perhaps most importantly, you tell me about your business so that I can get a feel for the project. Then we can start with the ideas and concepts.
While keeping your strengths and goals in mind, we find an attractive way to present your business online. Together we work out the contents and structure and make decisions about the best graphics approach.
At this point all the ideas are visualized, I'll begin by hand drawing the scenario for the principal pages. Then the "real" design process can start with colors, pictures, patterns, and typographic choices coming together cohesively. The result is a mockup which will look similar to your future website. You'll have online-access to the mockups in order to share and discuss them with your colleagues.
Your design is converted into HTML and CSS pages, including javascript. I edit the code by hand. The html-pages will be adapted to different screen sizes and tested in all common browsers. The next step is implementing the html-pages into a content management system (CMS). Only at this point will I insert text and pictures.
When everything is ready, I'll show you how to modify content and create new articles or put images online. There is also access available to statistics. Once you've validated all the contents, your site goes online.
